Abandoned Vehicle Contractor LTD (formally M V Grogan & Sons) has been a family business led by Vince Grogan for the last 18 years. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the abandoned vehicle business, and the company has a wide range of vehicles that can remove everything from a scooter to a HGV.
Our Expertise
All of our drivers have the skill set and equipment required to remove even the most challenging of vehicles – often involving underground/multi-story car parks, playing fields, burnt out vehicles and busy B roads. In the case of a soft lift needed we have lorries with a Hiab, this is a large cradle that will lift the vehicle from underneath avoiding any damage to the vehicle.
We can also carry out repositioning in cases roadworks/line painting etc. This involves using skates which are placed under each wheel of the vehicle so it can be easily repositioned.
Recovery Conditions
Our team are fully trained and have the experience, patience and confidence in dealing with often difficult and hazardous conditions. All of our drivers and office staff are qualified and trained to the latest standards and have regular appraisals to assess any training requirements/refresher course’s needs. Our drivers and admin staff are fully aware of the timescales required to uplift, store and dispose of each individual vehicle.
